Ashlie Silas has written a 5-star book。 This is the story of Jasmine and Alex。 Jasmine and Alex had been a couple back in high school until Alex broke up with her for no reason。 Now years later， she is working in one of his family's restaurants as the head chef。 Something happens with one of the customers and Alex fires Jasmine saying she gave the customer something with shellfish in it and he had an allergy to it。 Now the customer had a lawsuit against the restaurant。 Jasmine has tried to find Ashlie Silas has written a 5-star book。 This is the story of Jasmine and Alex。 Jasmine and Alex had been a couple back in high school until Alex broke up with her for no reason。 Now years later， she is working in one of his family's restaurants as the head chef。 Something happens with one of the customers and Alex fires Jasmine saying she gave the customer something with shellfish in it and he had an allergy to it。 Now the customer had a lawsuit against the restaurant。 Jasmine has tried to find another job but no one will hire her because of the lawsuit。 Jasmine had been working on getting the money so she could open her own restaurant but now it will have to be put on hold。 Cori， her friend， and roommate offers Jasmine the money but she turns her down。 It seems like things are against Jasmine when their apartment building catches on fire and they have to leave。 they grab what means a lot to them and run out of the apartment。 They run into a wall of flames at the main door and they decide to just run through it when Alex shows up and helps them get out。 Cori calls her boyfriend and tells Jasmine that they can stay with him until they can get back into their apartment。 Jasmine knows what Cori and Ray are like when together and turns Cori down。 Jasmine has plans of just staying in a hotel for the time being。 Alex tells her that she can stay with him， he has the room and she will hardly ever see him at home。 At first， she tells him no， she doesn't think it is a good idea。 Alex tells her to just think it over and let him know what she wants to do。 She finally agrees to stay with Alex。 At first， things are weird between them since they had once been a couple。 Jasmine still has feelings for Alex but it seems he has gotten over his for her。 Alex has a problem and he has come up with a plan that involves Jasmine。 He wants to be the new CEO of his family's business but he needs to be married in order for it to happen。 He tells Jasmine that they can fake marry for three months and she will get to be the new chef with control at the new restaurant that he is going to open。 She tells him that he is crazy and it won't work。 Jasmine talks to Cori about what Alex wants to do， and Cori tells her to go for it。 Jasmine and Alex decide they just want to get married at the courthouse but his mother gets involved and things get out of control。 At times it is hard for Jasmine to be around Alex since she still has feelings for him and she thinks he still has feelings for her but he is always hot and cold toward her。 They finally have a talk and end up sleeping together and Jasmine gets pregnant。 It is nearing the end of the three months and she doesn't know if she is going to tell Alex since he is so set on divorcing her。 When Alex finds out about the baby， he tells her it is a compilation that is not needed。 She tells him that he won't have to worry since she is leaving and would start divorce papers the next morning。 He said that she couldn't do that because they had a deal。 Jasmine tells him that she wants nothing from him and he could stuff it。 Jasmine goes to a hotel and calls Cori and told her what happened。 Jasmine tells her that she is going to go see about getting a loan for her restaurant。 Everything is all set until the realtor calls her and tells her the owner has decided to build on to the building and it is no longer for sale。 Jasmine sees a news report about Alex and it is not good。 She knows that what was said isn't true since she worked for him。 She may not be with him but she wants to help him。 She and Cori do a little digging and come up with something。 She finds out that the person that is causing all their problems is someone they both know。 It is someone they went to school with back in the eighth grade and he is out for revenge on them。 Jasmine and Cori get an address and she calls Alex and tells him what she and Cori found and she is going to go talk to the guy。 Alex wants the address and she finally gives it to him。 At first， things don't go so well but Cori is there to help them out。Will Jasmine and Alex stay married， or will they divorce？Will Alex clear his name of any wrongdoings？This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyoneI received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more
